new moon in cancer

This month’s New Moon in Cancer is an opportune time to set intentions around family, loved ones, home and the places we feel safe and secure. We can also ask ourselves what it is that we need to feel nurtured, supported and included.
The Moon is in its rulership sign of Cancer so the two together feel very comfortable in each other’s company. This is also a good time to delve into your ancestry, bloodlines and family roots.
When studying natal charts of family members, it never ceases to amaze me the Astrological connections and alignments between the charts. A couple of chart examples that comes to mind:
King Charles and his late mother Queen Elizabeth II. Charles’ Moon is almost exactly conjunct his mother’s Sun at 0°Taurus 12’ (Moon representing the mother) and his Sun at 22° Scorpio is conjunct his mother’s Saturn/Midheaven conjunction (Saturn being responsibility, authority, discipline and delays; Midheaven representing career and status). Charles, being the first born was well aware of his destiny and the weight of responsibility it carried. He definitely had to wait quite a while for his destiny to be realized.
Princess Diana and her son William. William was born under a new moon phase with his Sun/Moon in conjunction. His Sun/Moon are conjunct Diana’s Sun, once again aligning the mother/sun relationship. William also has Pluto conjunct Chiron, both conjunct his mother’s Venus. I imagine the birth of her first son created a powerful connection between the two and a very loving, healing energy to Diana’s lonely life in the palace.
The Draconic Chart is another Astrological method that can bring strong comparisons between ancestral ties and soul connections. The Draconic chart can recognize soul groups and those we unconsciously draw into our lives bringing with them circumstances and events of kharmic consequence to test our physical and emotional resolve in this lifetime.
Having a Draconic Chart consultation is very interesting indeed.
