I currently live within Wurundjeri Country, more commonly known as Melbourne, Australia.
My formal Astrological journey began back in 2004 when I enrolled with the Australian Academy of Astrology & Cosmobiology. After three years of intense study and examinations, I completed the Certificate and Professional qualifications with distinctions. I then began my personal practice, offering client readings and consultations. I am also an active member of the AAAC Research Group which meets regularly to examine current events and trending influences, through the lens of Astrology.
Astrology has had such a profound effect upon my life. The first time I saw and was able to understand my Birth Chart, I felt this overwhelming sense of contentment and pride, a “coming home” if you will. Here I was presented with a tangible map outlining all my personality traits and an invitation to unlock a potential that was truly mine.
I was able to recognize the parts of myself that were strong, resilient, easeful and familiar. I was also faced with the challenging parts of my personality that held discomfort and fragility. To look deep into this mirror was my way forward. What was reflected back to me was a means of self acceptance and empowerment.
Astrology is an ancient study of cosmic influence upon human life and personality. Interpretation of the Sun, Moon and planets is based on mythology, symbolism, cyclic observance and documented experiences of generations of astrologers and philosophers. It is so much more than your Sun sign. The position of the Sun in your chart is only one factor that influences you as uniquely individual.
Astrology and chart delineation is multi-layered and extremely complex. I love the combination of mathematics, astronomy, energetics and human behavior. When I used to calculate and construct charts manually (which I still do from time to time), I was forever intrigued as each piece would reveal itself and then fall into place to form the completed works. Although I’ve studied Astrology for many years now, I consider myself a forever student as I continue to learn and be challenged. I believe the evolution of this work never ends.
